The Bruins announced that Doug Jarvis—a former Habs player and coaching assistant in the Stars and Montreal systems—will become Claude Julien's new assistant coach.In 1984, Jarvis was named as the NHL’s top defensive forward. He finished up his playing career right here in New England with the Hartford Whalers.
